CELEBRATING 5 YEARS!

Five years ago we set out on an endeavor to assist students in Montgomery County, who are experiencing "food insecurity" by providing food items for the weekend during the school year. We started out with a donation of $500 and now God has provided us with multiple financial donors who make it possible for us to continue this ministry in our community.

Along with the financial assistance, we have multiple volunteers who come along side us to assemble these food packs each month. Students to senior citizens, churches to various businesses, community organizations to first responders have all been a vital part in chipping away at food insecurity in our county.

Our board is also made up of volunteers, each contributing in their area of expertise throughout the school year: Treasurer, PR, generating menus, ordering food items, setting up for assembling packs, pick-up and delivery of food, inventory, grant writing, fund-raising, scheduling of volunteers...these and other behind the scenes services describe our board.
